Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Region NPC partners with the Nature for Water Facility to build a business case for catchment restoration
The Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Region is currently serving not only as one of the world's most biodiverse and spectacular landscapes but also a Strategic Water Source Area for the burgeoning population in South Africa. This grant is designed to determine the feasibility of establishing a Catchment Investment Program (CIP) to ensure that the valuable landscape can be protected and restored. The CIP will be designed to use nature based solutions to protect the region's water source alongside the irreplaceable biodiversity in perpetuity.
